President
John Covert has been in love with the moving image since his early childhood. He began making films at 13 with a Super 8 Camera and editor bought with money from his paper route. His first job in the industry was with PBS in Miami Florida where he was hired as a Cameraman and within a year was producing and directed documentaries, community affairs programs and live shows. He then returned to his hometown Chicago and ran a group of Cable Channels for The North Shore Cable Television Consortium. At The NSCTC he both produced, directed and edited as well has handled post production and scheduling for dozens of programs. He founded Covert Creative Group, Inc. in 1990 and since has produced hundreds of projects.
He lives and works in Chicago, Arkansas and Philadelphia.

Stacey Shevlin, the newest partner in CCG brings a wide range of experience with her to the team. Beginning her career in marketing and advertising, she worked to build and develop both local clients and national clients. For the past four years she has been working as a professional actress, voice over artist and band member in conjunction with her behind the scenes work in film and TV production.
She lives and works in Philadelphia and New York.
